Keep your family safe with Samsung SmartCam (ARV$129) #Giveaway Ends 10/4

Ever since I became a mom some 17-ish years ago I've looked at the world in a whole different way. I started paying more attention to locking the doors when I leave house (even for a quick trip just minutes away) and just to my surroundings in general. I guess that's what they call the motherly instinct that's built inside of us gals. We will do anything to protect our kiddos, and to prevent them from getting hurt. Since my daughter started middle school she's been asking for a little more freedom in being home without her older brother being there babysitting her. She's 11-1/2 and quite independent already. Of course with her being a girl I'm a little more leery about her being home alone and my husband...well he just says flat out NO. I mean that's his little girl we are talking about. Of course that just drives her crazy because she knows her brother was staying home along long before her. She just doesn't get the difference it makes with her being a girl.

So as the good (and fair) mom I like to believe I am I try to make everyone happy. And to do that meant getting a Samsung SmartCam set up in our house. By using a smart camera we can connect to our daughter instantly even when we aren't home. By opening up an app on our phone we can talk to her through the SmartCam's built-in speaker and mic. And we can check in on her anytime we like to make sure she's safe at home...and doing her homework of course.

Another nice feature that I really like is the Motion Zone Select. I like this alot because you can set up motion zones and if there's any motion in the room especially say after dark (like a kid trying to sneak out/in) you'll be notified via an alert on your phone. The night vision is quite impressive and very clear. My teenage son has no idea the SmartCam has this feature so he thinks all we can do is check in on his sister with it and talk to her during the day. I guess at least for now that will be our little secret. Shhhh..

Features:
• 1080p Full HD Streaming and Recording
• 130° Ultra-Wide View Angle
• Improved Night Vision (33ft, 10m)
• High Capacity Storage (max. 128GB)
• Motion Zone Select
• Two-Way Talk
• Lens Distortion Correction

For the safety of my children I opted to not include a personal photo of my them via the camera inside of our house. Call me crazy, but I just don't want a photo of what's inside my house on the internet :-)
