I know there are a ton of different subscription boxes out there these days and most of them are pretty much alike with just a few differences from what I've noticed based on the brand. MARY’s secret ingredients is actually a very different and unique subscription box. Yes it comes in your standard sized box with the tissue paper and pretty packaging like all the rest, but it's what's under all that stuff that stands out. It also comes with a nice little brochure that tells what each item is inside the box and how you would use it. Very helpful for those things that are new to you.

The very first thing I noticed was that the box not only came with unique food products, it also came with a unique culinary tool. I can honestly say I have never seen a Cit-Trease (the orange handled tool). I know you're probably going a what?? It's a clever tool that makes removing citrus from the peel very easy. I was immediately in love with it because I hate getting citrus peels under my nails when I am trying to remove them. Awesome right? Besides the awesome new culinary tool I now have I also have many great food products I've been trying out for the first time with my family. Plus when you order one of the boxes you also are signed up for awesome emails that provide you with great recipe ideas for your box items. I found this very helpful because I had no idea how to even begin to use a few of the products in the box and the recipes gave me perfect ways to use them that my family would actual enjoy. The recipes were all easy to follow and contained ingredients I pretty much already had in my pantry so I didn't have to go out and buy anything special.
