A Haunted House 2 on Blu-Ray/DVD


When I was growing up there were an abundance of horror-movies out there, and let me tell you I watched a few of them that at the time really scared me to death! As I got older and learned they were only movies and the story lines weren't true I looked back and realized how silly I was getting scared. Now days I think there are more horror-movies turned comedies than straight-up horror movies. And well, I think that's great. I'd rather watch a movie that's funny then one that may scare my kids. A great example of this is portrayed in A Haunted House 2 starring Marlon Wayans (Scary Movie series, White Chicks) and Cedric the Entertainer (Madagascar, The Original Kings of Comedy). Let me tell you this movie will have you holding your sides and rolling on the floor. I'm not sure if I laughed more out of the movie being funny, or how ridiculous some of the "scary" parts were supposed to be. Over all it was a great movie and the whole family thought it was funny.

Synopsis:
Having overcome the demons of his past, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) is ready to start over with his new girlfriend Megan (Jaime Pressly) and her two adorable kids, Wyatt (Steele Stebbins) and Becky (Ashley Rickards). When their house is plagued by a rash of bizarre paranormal events, Malcolm turns for help to his buddy Miguel (Gabriel Iglesias) and exorcist Father Williams (Cedric the Entertainer) in an attempt to drive the evil spirits from his home. But it turns out it’s not just the house that’s haunted…
