Are you ready for a 4th of July backyard BBQ?

Thanks to the awesome array of 4th of July products I received from Oriental Trading we are going to have a backyard BBQ to remember this year. If you ask me the most important thing to have when hosting a backyard BBQ is a dining table that stands out. For me that means using something beyond  your basic white paper plates and napkins. And I really like to liven it up when there's a holiday theme I can incorporate. That's why I like the 4th of July so much. It's so easy to decorate and make your table stand out and be noticed.

All of the above products I was able to find right on the Oriental Trading website so I didn't even have to go to the store for anything this year. From a red/white/blue table cover to the accessories you eat with, to a coordinating utensil holder and some mood lighting for later in the evening from tealight candles in patriotic glass votive holders. It's everything you need...oh wait....almost everything you need....

No table is complete without a candy-filled centerpiece complete with patriotic wrapped mints, gum, and lollipops! Now that's what I am talking about, something unique that grabs their attention. I mean who doesn't love a candy tower?

And if you'll have kiddos at your backyard BBQ it's always nice to have a little something for them too. My daughter's still really big into making the rubber-band bracelets so for us that was a no brainer. Plus we found some super cool themed beads and necklaces so there's something for everyone.

And of course no backyard BBQ is complete without a dip in the pool. Oriental Trading has you covered in that area too with themed beach balls and a patriotic surfboard to match. Now we are officially ready..well all but the food, family, and friends that is.

  10. You are certainly ready! We're having a party here too on the 4th but so far, I've bought the snow cone maker and made syrup. SO much still to do, my decor is still in bags in the closet. Have fun!
