Rain in January? I thought it was winter!

Last time I looked at the calendar I could have sworn it said it was January and supposed to be winter outside. But looking at the forecast for the week it looks a bit like spring. With highs in the 50's and rain in the forecast it sure isn't looking much like winter here in good ole Indiana this year. It actually started back in December us having unusually warm and wet weather for this time of year. Right now we have a light covering of snow on the ground and it's freezing cold out. But in a few days we are supposed to have a warm front come in and it's all going to be a big mess. I have to say I would much rather have the snow right now. I mean it's winter after all! But since I don't get to decide what the weather is going to be and Mother Nature seems to be on a mental vacation in regards to remembering what season it is I guess I better pack my umbrella and make the best of it.

The mini ShedRain Compact Umbrella is the ultimate solution to rainy day woes.  The strong, durable frame, ribs, and shaft make it reliable even in the soggiest weather.  With its compact size, this collapsible umbrella is just the right fit for any backpack, purse or satchel.

I like this umbrella because it's so small i can tuck it under the seat of my car for those times I'm out running errands and it starts to rain. Then I can just pull it out and stick it in my purse or grocery bag. I actually got two of them so I gave one to my mom for Christmas to put in her car too. She's like me and is always forgetting to grab an umbrella when heading out of the house for the day. Now we are both prepared for anything Mother Nature decides to throw at us!
