Color yourself to a happy and peaceful place

If you've been following my blog long then you'll know that I am a big fan of adult coloring books. I actually have them in several rooms of my house with various sets of pencils, gel pens, and markers. I'm one that starts a book and leaves it in the room I started it in so every time I'm there I can work on it. Right now I think I have three different books going. It makes it easier to have multiple books than to try and find the one book and tote it all over the house. For me coloring is something that relaxes me and many times I'll set aside half an hour at the end of a day to color. There's just something therapeutic about it that helps me unwind.

Below are a few of the latest books I've gotten to enjoy. Of the three of them I have to say the Mandala book is probably my favorite. I'm one that has trouble coloring things out of the ordinary colors so sometimes books with real objects can be hard for me. For example to me the sun is a yellow/orange color and leaves are different shades of green. I struggle trying to be creative in my coloring and using other colors to be different. I like to color shapes because it doesn't matter what color I use.
