Mom in Training: The Plans I Have For You Devotional & Journal

The Plans I Have For You Devotional & Journal

My daughter has really gotten into journaling over the last several months. She said it helps her feel better when she can jot down her feelings. She has also been showing more of an interest in Sunday school and learning more about God. So this set was the perfect choice for her because they actually compliment each other well and fit right in with where she is at spiritually. I really love that the devotional is a 90-day one and not for an entire year. It gives you the ability to start it whenever, not just the first of the year. It also makes it not so overwhelming for kids because it's for a shorter period of time. I actually really thought the stories were really good and easy for kids to put in perspective. The journal has lots of nice writing prompts in it that help young readers along, it's not just blank pages that you have to try and fill up on your own. It even has some fun activities for them to do as a break from just writing all of the time.

The Plans I Have For You Devotional
The devotional is an illustrated 90-day devotional written by bestselling children's book author Amy Parker and illustrated by Vanessa Brantley-Newton, teaching and inspiring kids to dream about their future, to focus on faith, love, and joy, and recognize that God has a plan and purpose for each and every one of us.
