Special Treats for Entertaining and Holiday Gifts

If you're like many at some point this month you'll be entertaining for the holidays. And that means you'll need to have some tasty treats on hand for your guests. And of course for those visitors that drop by unexpectedly. I know I always like to be prepared with something to offer my guests while we are visiting.

I also like to add unique and special treats to gift baskets and family stockings. I like to do things that stand out from the norm and give gifts that not everyone else will be giving.

Donsuemor - Traditional French Madeleines is what this classic gourmet food brand is famous for, but its signature biscotti and other European-inspired desserts make a rich addition to any gourmet gift basket or grown-up stocking stuffer.

Davidson's Organic Teas - The only organic farm-to-cup tea company in the US, Davidson's carries a series of signature gift items perfect for discerning foodies and tea lovers. Seasonal gift sets are a big hit this time of year but my personal favorite is Davidson's one-of-a-kind DIY Tea Blending Kit.

Having hot tea on hand is always a must around the holidays because I know many of my family members enjoy it in with the colder weather. Davidson's gives me a great assortment of teas and it comes in a nice gift box that I can store them in too.

Nature's Bakery - Wholesome and delicious, this healthier snack option is a big hit among moms and kids and is a perfect stocking stuffer. The pumpkin spice bar brings some holiday flare too! All flavors and box sizes are available online through Amazon.

I know my kids enjoy getting special treats in their stockings like these because they know whatever is in their stocking belongs only to them and no one else can take it. It's like a special prize to them. That's why I like to give treats like these so they get that special "prize" and it's something I can feel good about giving them.
