Crafting, Coloring, and Braiding books = fun for the whole family!

The nice thing about books is that they are so universal. There's a book that covers pretty much every topic out there. And that means even if you don't like to read for enjoyment (like my son) there's still something out there you will probably enjoy. Whether it's a book about making a craft, doing your hair, or coloring and doodling for relaxation there's really something for the whole family.

I recently got some really fun books to check out from Ulysses Press and wanted to share my thoughts on them with you. First up I got a book called Crafting with Paracord - I got this book for my son because he's been making the paracord bracelets for a few years now. With this book he's teaching himself how to make different styles of bracelets as well as other crafts. He said it was awesome because it shows him step by step instructions with color photos. Next up I got a book to share with my daughter on braiding. She's seen other kids at school with all the fancy braids and wants me to do them. Well, I'm not that experienced in that department, or that creative when it comes to hair so this book has really helped with that. It too has color photos and step by step instructions which I too like. And finally I got a doodling book and a coloring book for myself and my husband to enjoy. I've been using adult coloring books to help me relax just before bedtime and I really enjoy it. My husband isn't as much into coloring so I got the Zen Doodles book for him. It's really neat because it has 365 different quotes with the start of a doodle. He is very imaginative so he's been enjoying creating his own doodles.

Here's some more information on each of the books I got:
