The Prepared Pantry - An easy way to a healthy breakfast!

Are you like me and have vowed to stop buying so much pre-made breakfast foods like waffles and pancakes? I just can't see spending the extra money on a product that's not nearly as good for my kids as making them myself. Plus homemade waffles and pancakes are always taste so much better, at least that's the opinion in my house. With the Prepared Pantry you can make them both with mixes like their Multigrain Pancake and Waffle Mix with Ancient Grains. And you're even sneaking in something a little extra with this mix and it's Ancient grains. I was afraid having the added texture in the pancakes might turn my kids away, but both of them actually said they loved them and asked if I could make extra to keep in the freezer for them for school days. Now this is something a mother loves to hear, kids wanting to eat something that's good for them.

The kids had simple pancakes with peanut butter and syrup while my husband had what he called a pancake bomb. He likes to make his breakfast into a full blown meal while we like to keep it simple. Either way everyone loved the mix and now we are searching for the next product to try from The Prepared Pantry. I really like the idea of cooking from scratch, but sometimes I just don't have enough time in my day to do that. With The Prepared Pantry I can fix foods that are both easy to use and are good for my family too.
