Papa Murphy's NEW Fresh Pan Pizza - A carry-out meal you can be proud of! #PapaMurphysMNO

As moms, we all want to serve our families a delicious and hot meal, straight from the oven, but sometimes our busy schedules get in the way. That's why I'm going to tell you all about Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake Pizza. Not only is a Papa Murphy's pizza made to order and completely customizable with your favorite fresh ingredients, you control when it's hot and ready because you get to pop it in the oven and serve it fresh to your family.

My husband and I stopped by our local Papa Murphy's on our way home from working out after he got off work. This time it was pre-planned but I could honestly see myself stopping here on a whim too when I've forgotten to pull something out for dinner, or when unexpected company is coming over. Oh, and of course for a special occasional treat.

The first thing that caught my eye as soon as I walked in the door was this sign about their new pan crust. Since it just came out I hadn't had the opportunity to try it so I was pretty excited about seeing this sign. They were really pushing the new pan pizza crust so I had very high hopes about how it was going to taste.

We took a few minutes to look over their extensive menu of pizza options then finally made our choice.

We stepped up to the order counter where we ordered the Gourmet Chicken Garlic on the new pan crust. It features a creamy garlic sauce, chicken, tomatoes, green onions, finished off with a herb & cheese blend. I figured why not go all new this time instead of going with the usual toppings and red sauce styled pizzas.

Then we sat down on the bench and waited and watched as our pizza was made right there before our eyes. All fresh ingredients placed on the pizza crust just moments after we ordered. It really only took a matter of minutes before we were called up to the counter to retrieve our order.

This is how our pizza looked when we picked it up. The nice girl behind the counter told us to make sure we kept the pan level so the oil under the crust didn't spill over the sides. It was nice and tightly wrapped in plastic wrap with some literature underneath.

As soon as we arrived home I set the oven for 425 according to the instructions tucked under the plastic wrap. Then I began to do a little rearranging of our ingredients. My husband is the only one that likes the green onions so I simply moved them all to one area of the pizza. This was awesome to me because we still got all of the toppings we paid for, but didn't have to have them on all of the pizza. This is great for anyone that has a picky eater at home and wants to put the extra of a topping on their slices. I could have requested the onions to only be on a portion of the pizza at the restaurant, but this way I could customize it how we wanted it.

And here's the final product after a short 15 minutes. Which gave me just the right amount of time to make our side salads to finish off dinner. The buttery crust from the scratch-made dough baked up golden brown and perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. I've had several different pan style pizzas before at other pizza places and never really been a fan. They are usually too thick and full of grease from the pan. I was very surprised that the Papa Murphy's pan pizza had neither of these downfalls. The size of the crust was perfect, the dough was nice and fluffy, and the bottom was not grease soaked.

Check out all of that ooey gooey cheese all over the top of the pizza. And the tomatoes cooked up so plump, not all dried out like some pizzas. That's the benefit of a Papa Murphy's Take and Bake pizza. You get fresh ingredients ready to be baked while they are still at their peak. Not frozen toppings from a grocery store boxed pizza, or a pizza you need to reheat once you get home from most carry-out pizza places.

Papa Murphy's also offers a variety of sides like cheese bread, salads, and desserts. We didn't pick any up on this trip because we already had baked cookies from the night before, and I had bought salad mix at the grocery store for dinner this week. But now that I'm familiar with their offerings and see just how fresh everything is I know I can bring home an entire meal and feel good about serving it to my family.
