I'm probably high on the list of those that "say" they want to diet, but never really follow through. I'm not super overweight, but I haven't ever lost all the "baby fat" from my daughter (who is now 7 I must point out). So when I was given the opportunity to receive and give an honest review on this book I thought sure why not. I figured it would be something that would give me the needed incentive to actually stick with a diet plan. So I did it, well I should say I AM doing it. I say that because it took me a little longer than I anticipated to read the book so I started a little later than the original plan. This is one of those things where you must read the entire book first. If you don't parts of the 28 day journey will not make sense and you may be tempted to veer off from the path. Next look through the recipes and make a list of everything you will need to pick up at the store so you are ready to get started and stay on track once you start. So far I have been following the book (almost to a "T") for the last 2.5 weeks. I won't lie and say it's been easy, it is definitely something new and different than I have ever tried. But with the increased energy and way I'm feeling I am determined to stick with the plan the best I can for the full 28 days. I've already lost a few pounds and can actually tell it around my waist, which to me says more than anything. Now to just keep at it and continue to see the results is my goal. The other positive is it's helped me plan better meals for my family which keeps them healthier in the process! I see that as a win/win for everyone.
