Mother’sTouch Thermometer Giveaway 7-6

“Over the course of history, there has been nothing more natural for a mother to do with a sick child than to touch her hand to his forehead to check for a fever,” says John Wilson, president of Medisim-USA.  “While a warm forehead often implies the presence of a fever, it isn’t scientific or exact – until now.” The Mother’sTouch™ Thermometer is the first and only thermometer of its kind, and is targeted to mothers with young children.  It is the most intuitive and gentle method of accurately getting a temperature reading.   A mother gently places the base of the thermometer to her child’s temple for just 6-8 seconds and with no effort or discomfort, gets a quick and accurate measurement while holding her baby close.  Mother’s Touch thermometers are powered by exclusive, patented R.A.T.E. technology (Rapid, Accurate, Temperature, Establishment)  a revolutionary technology which allows non-invasive, instant and accurate temperature measurements.
Before beginning, be sure the forehead is clean and dry, wiping away any perspiration.

To take reading:
  1. Place the thermometer on your finger like wearing a ring, then place your hand on baby’s forehead.
  2. Gently press and hold the three sensors against the forehead near the temple to ensure that good contact with the skin is maintained (Figure 4).
  3. Correct placing and good contact with the skin ensure reliable readouts. During measurement, make sure that the thermometer and the subject do not move.
  4. The reading will be displayed within 6-8 seconds.
My Take:
Some of you may remember back when I had the pleasure of reviewing the TempleTouch Thermometer. Well, I'm back with another great product from the same company! The Mother'sTouch Thermometer is a new way to gently take your little ones temperature. I love not only how easy it is to use, but also how it really lets you get close to your little ones at the same time. I don't know about you, but my hand is usually the first thing to go to my kids heads when I think they may have a temperature.  Then I go get a thermometer to confirm my suspicions.  What better way then with the Mother'sTouch Thermometer. Slip it on your finger and place your hand once again on their foreheads. Just like what they are used to.

Win it: One lucky reader will win a Mother’sTouch Thermometer. This giveaway will end July 6th at 12:01 AM EST. The winner will have 48 hours to respond to my email. If no response, a new winner will be chosen. Open to residents of the US.
