2012 Butterflies Mom's Weekly Planner (18-Month Calendar)
This inspired desk calendar and planner makes managing your family's activities and appointments a snap! (Well, almost.) 18-month planner (July 2011–December 2012), from back-to-school through the next year's holidays). Each two-page spread displays your weekly ''master plan,'' with a column for each family member. Tabs for each month. Address pages. Tear-out ''To-Do'' lists. Elastic band place holder. Engagement calendar is sized right (7-3/4'' wide x 9-1/4'' high) for your desk, kitchen counter, or tote bag. Pretty ''Butterflies'' cover design is fresh and appealing; glossy accents and raised embossing add an elegant touch. Concealed wire-o binding lies flat for ease of use. Removable cover band.

Motherhood Is Not For Sissies
If you agree with Ed Asner that "raising kids is part joy and part guerilla warfare," you'll love this Keepsake. The photographs and captions will touch your heart and tickle your sense of humor, as you face the daily lovely or hair-raising happenings of motherhood. 72-page hardcover; 6-1/4" square.

My Take:
I love the Mom's Weekly Planner, and I can't wait until July gets here so I can start using it.  One of my favorite things about this planner is that it is spiral bound, I hate when my planners don't stay open to the page I am on, or start coming apart at the seems part way through the year. I also like the actual layout of the months and that it gives you a column for each person in your family's daily activities (mom of course is pre-printed on the first column). Each month has a labeled tab so it's easy to jump ahead for pre-planning. And there is an address book and tear-out to-do sheets in the back, how awesome!  The other think I really like is the elastic band that acts as a bookmark so you can always quickly open to the current week. Peter Pauper Press has an entire line of the butterflies theme so this is a gift you can build on through out the year.  If you visit the Mom's Weekly Planner page you can get large images of the inside pages of the planner as well as see other products in the butterflies line.

The book I received Motherhood Is Not For Sissies is a great laugh.  You can see two of the pages above.  Each caption/saying has an accompanying picture to go along with it and they really fit together well. I read through the entire book in one sitting and my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much.  Definitely a book to open up when you are having a not so great mommy day!.
